What do I know about Stem Cell research?

1. There are two main opposing views:
- a. For: (Usually) Liberals, Scientists, etc.
- b. Against: (Usually) Conservatives, [devout] Christians, etc.

2. Stem cell research has the potential to be able to cure currently non-curable diseases such as Alzheimer's, Lou Gehrig's disease, etc.

3. Stem cell's can be harvested from sources such as Blastocytes (which are fetus' which are anywhere from 150-300 cells big.)

The stem cell research debate has 2 platforms: Moral, and Scientific. The moral community says that destroying a blasyocyte is murder because you are destroying an unborn baby. The scientific community says that stem cells can be used to cure many diseases: even AIDs.
